Saturday, April 21: Spring Tea
at Old Mill Village Church on the Green, midtown Park, New Milford, Pa

     A relaxing time, enjoying a generous selection of teas, and a delightful buffet of light fare. Enjoy an antique quilt display.

Saturday May 26: Spring Farm Festival

     Agriculture built our community. Celebrate our living farm heritage. Family fun activities.
Wool spinning and weaving demonstrations, beehive oven baking, butter churning, etc. Farm tractors and farm equipment on display.
     Come join us for a day of hands-on wool to weaving! We will shear the sheep, prepare the wool for spinning, spin the wool into yarn, dye the yarn and weave the yarn into cloth. In addition, there will be opportunities to try your hands at needle felting, flax spinning and rag rugs. Our sheep will be joined with other fiber friends - the angora rabbits, the angora goats (mohair) and the alpacas.

Saturday, June 2: Ice Cream Social

     Harken back to the days of pioneers and trappers. See primitive encampments, shooting competition, enjoy fun and games from "back in the day." Historic demonstrations of early skills and survival.

July 4th: Montrose Fourth of July Parade
Join us and see our float in the Independence Day Parade in Montrose, July 4.

Saturday & Sunday, July 14 & 15: Wild West Town

     Gunslingers and outlaws take command of the Village. The Shadows of the Old West troupe will put on performances both days, bringing the history of the days of the cowboys to the Village.

Sunday, Aug 12:"An Afternoon of Delights" **Special Fund Raising Event**
at Old Mill Village Church on the Green, midtown Park, New Milford, Pa
Special time: 4pm to ?
Admission: $5.00 ages 12 and up, $1.00 ages 6 - 11.

     Enjoy stories, poems, and a bit of music in the OMV Church sanctuary, followed by refreshments in the dining room. Poets, storytellers and songsters may contact the chair prior to the event.

August 20th thru 25th: Stop by the Old Mill Village display at the Harford Fair!

     Displays and demonstrations of the culture, art and skills of the first Europeans to visit North America - the Vikings.

Saturday & Sunday, Sept 29 & 30: Fall Festival & Pumpkintown Celebration

     Harvest time activities for the whole family. Plus, the Village is again inhabited by our "Pumpkintown" friends, a traditional delight of the season.

SAT. & SUN, OCT 6 & 7: Civil War Living History
Saturday: 10 am - 5 pm
Sunday: 10 am - 4 pm

     The War Between the States shaped our history and changed life for many in our area. Sit in on a "lesson" at the one-room schoolhouse. March in step with soldiers, and be charmed by the elegantly dressed ladies. Battle re-enactments each day.

Fridays & Saturdays , October 12 - 13 & 19 - 20: Historic Ghost Walks of PA

Special admission rates: $5.00 ages 6 and up, under age 6 free.
     Take a spine-tingling nightime candlelight tour of the Village, while being thrilled by tales of ghosts and hauntings from our area and around the state of PA. Your shivers will not be from the chilly weather! Cider, hot chocolate and donuts provided at the end of the tours. Tours start about every 20 minutes throughout the night. Reservations recommended for all, required for parties of 10 or more.

Saturday, October 27: Halloween Trick-or-Treat Night
Special Hours 6 pm to 8 pm
Special admission rate: $1.00 ages 3 and up.

     The Village buildings will be open for costumed Trick-or-Treaters to collect sweet treats. Fun activities such as pumpkin decorating (bring your own or purchase one here) and games .

Saturday, October 27: ***Schoolhouse Paranormal Encounter***
Special Hours: 9pm - 11pm
Special Admission rate: $25 per person

     Bring your paranormal investigation equipment and spend two hours in the Grove School.
Who knows what you may encounter?
     **NOTE:** Attendance by reservation only, limited to 15 participants, ages 16 and up.

Saturday, December 1: Victorian Christmas and Tea
at Old Mill Village Church on the Green, midtown Park, New Milford, Pa

Special Hours: 11 am - 4pm
     Enjoy an elegant interlude during the pre-Christmas rush. Relax with friends while tasting delectable treats and a variety of teas (or hot chocolate). Afternoon tea served all day. Donations gratefully accepted. Silent auction of gift baskets that will make wonderful holiday gifts — if you can part with them! Funds raised help maintain the church.
